Fitch Ratings assesses Mongolia's credit rating as stable

AKIPRESS.COM - The international rating agency Fitch Ratings left Mongolia's credit rating at B (stable), despite the growth of external debt. Maintaining the rating was mainly influenced by the fact that the medium-term economic growth of Mongolia will be positive.

A sovereign credit rating is an assessment of a country's credit risk that indicates how likely it is to default over time. Countries are distributed in the rating depending on the probability of servicing their external debts, the stability of their economy.
