AKIPRESS.COM - Ysakul Momunkulov, a 73-year-old resident of Kyrgyzstan village in Bakai-Ata district of Talas region, constructed a playground for children using his own pension funds.
Observing that children in the village had no playground during both winter and summer, Momunkulov and his wife decided to allocate funds from their pensions to building a playground.
Momunkulov built the playground on his own.
"I have a background in metalworking. My wife and I are both natives of this village. She has always been supportive of my endeavors. We have six children and seventeen grandchildren. We always dreamed of having more children. We take great pride in our children and grandchildren, and they are always there for us. Throughout my working life, I held various positions, including driver, foreman, mechanic, engineer, and head of the local village council before retiring," he shared.
