AKIPRESS.COM - Work is being carried out in Tashkent region to develop cooperation with the Republic of Korea in the medical field, UzA reported.

Head of the region Zoyir Mirzayev met with members of the Korean delegation from the Health and Treatment Department of Gyeonggi Province.

The Uzbek side emphasized the need for Korean experience in the professional development of specialists in treating mothers and children, especially infants, in-home care.

The parties agreed on cooperation in several areas, including exchanging personnel in surgery and oncology and improving their qualifications.
