
AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi signed a Joint Statement on strengthening cooperation between the two countries following the high-level talks.
During the visit, 15 documents were also adopted by governments, agencies, and regions, UzA reported.
Among them are the Agreement between governments on preferential trade, the Cooperation Program between the Agency for Technical Regulation of Uzbekistan and the Iranian National Standards Organization, and the Action Plan for cooperation in technology and innovation.
Memorandums of cooperation were adopted in creating joint free economic zones, pharmaceuticals, transport, and transit.
A Plan of joint measures in sports, a Memorandum of Understanding in dispute resolution and arbitration, an optional agreement on cooperation in reinsurance, and other documents were also signed.
