AKIPRESS.COM - US Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Jose W. Fernandez joined the governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea to launch the first-ever tripartite critical minerals dialogue.

The dialogue will deepen cooperation between the three countries and help identify ways to work together to advance high environmental, social and governance standards in the mining industry.

During the visit, the Under Secretary also met with members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia, delivered a presentation on international trade at the World Export Development Forum, and visited the Oyu Tolgoi mine.
