Uzbekistan increases tea imports
AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan imported 14,700 tons of tea from 23 foreign countries for about $21.1 million in January-May 2023, according to the national statistics office.
The volume of tea imports increased by 718 tons compared to the same period last year.
Uzbekistan imported tea mainly from the following countries:
China - 11,400 tons
Kenya - 1,000 tons
Iran - 893 tons
India - 338 tons
Kazakhstan - 247 tons
Sri Lanka - 185 tons
Indonesia - 179 tons
Russia - 175 tons
UAE - 173 tons
