AKIPRESS.COM - 97,300 citizens, of which about 25,500 are unemployed, have received certificates of completion of courses on the online vocational training platform skills.enbek.kz since the beginning of this year. In total, 292,900 Kazakhstanis registered on the platform, of which 109,500 in 2023, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan reports.

About 8,600 out of 25,500 unemployed citizens are young people, mainly from Kyzylorda, Turkestan, Almaty regions and Shymkent city, Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan says.

The authors have published 219 courses in various fields on the platform, 166 of them are free. Course duration ranges from 1 to 72 hours.

The number of free courses for the development of professional skills in various professions is constantly increasing on the platform, including courses in information technology, ecology and labor protection, tourism, business, energy, marketing and management, education and upbringing.

The platform is aimed at increasing the level of education and professionalism of the country's population, stimulating career development and promoting the concept of "lifelong learning".
