AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland Bakhrom Babayev met with head of the Polish company Orion Tobacco Poland Sp. z o.o. Boguslaw Czernek, UzA reported.

The parties discussed at the meeting issues of implementing joint projects, in particular, the creation of tobacco production in Surkhandarya region worth 3 million euros, the organization of packaging of coffee products worth 2 million euros, and the production of chocolate bars with nuts worth 1 million euros in Samarkand region.

The capacity of these projects is 60 tons of products per month. In addition, more than 500 new jobs will be created.

The head of the Polish company said that these projects would be implemented at the expense of the direct funds of the investor, as well as using Polish technologies.
