AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh attended the ASEAN Regional Forum Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia on July 13-14, Montsame reported.

The Foreign Minister met with representatives of the business community of Indonesia on the forum's sidelines.

Battsetseg Batmunkh provided information about Mongolia's investment environment and discussed the possibility of exporting halal processed meat and meat products to Indonesia. Additionally, she exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of mining, food, and light industry.

The Foreign Minister presented a cooperation proposal to the management of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) to establish a joint mechanism between the two countries. The parties agreed to organize a business forum in Ulaanbaatar in near future to connect the business communities of the two countries.
