There are over 40 specialized guest houses in the village, which has become a prominent destination for travelers.
This year marks the village's 95th anniversary, and in celebration, a cultural event was organized to raise funds for the renovation of the village's House of Culture. More than 200 people participated in a marathon to support the renovation.
The House of Culture, named after Mederbek Akimkojoev, was built in 1987 and has not undergone any repairs since then. As a result, the building is now outdated, with leaky roofs and broken chairs. The total amount of funds collected exceeded 1 million soms, contributions were made through electronic money and cattle.
The village's current population is 5,200 people. It has to 3 secondary schools, a children's art school, four kindergartens, and a hospital. The local economy primarily relies on agriculture and cattle breeding.
