AKIPRESS.COM - Acting Mayor of Tashkent city Shavkat Umurzakov met with Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan Aurelia Bouchez, UzA reported.

Umurzakov expressed gratitude for the visit, and said that a favorable investment and business environment had been created in Uzbekistan, especially in Tashkent, for both local and foreign companies. He highlighted the need to increase the participation of France in projects in architecture, infrastructure, design, construction, and the food industry.

Aurelia Bouchez expressed her gratitude for the reception and openness to dialogue. She supported Umurzakov’s proposals, emphasizing that cooperation is actively gaining momentum after President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to France in November last year.

Bouchez also addressed organizational issues on projects currently being implemented jointly with French companies. In particular, the issue of opening a branch of the French Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu in Tashkent was discussed.
