AKIPRESS.COM - The UNESCO headquarters in Paris will host the exhibition "Abu Rayhan Beruni. Geographical and Intellectual Travel" on September 4-8. The project is timed with the 1,050th anniversary of a scientist and thinker's birth, UzA reports.
The exhibition will feature scenography and multimedia installations dedicated to life and scientific activities of Abu Rayhan Beruni, as well as copies of manuscripts.
The event will also include a concert of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the direction of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov. The world premiere of Dmitry Yanov-Yanovsky's composition Zij – Music of Constellations will take place at the event as well.
The exhibition is organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.
