AKIPRESS.COM - A sharp change in weather is expected in Kyrgyzstan on August 28-29, Kyrgyzhydromet reports.

It will rain over most of the territory on August 28. The rain will turn into snow in mountainous areas, with intense precipitation in some places.

Air temperature will drop to +8…+13 °C at night and to +18…+23 °C in the daytime in Chui valley, to +4…+9 °C at night and to +17…+22 °C in the daytime in Talas valley, to +9…+14 °C at night and to +21…+26 °C in the daytime in the valley zone of Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions, to +4…+9 °C at night and to +13…+18 °C in the daytime in Issyk-Kul basin, to +1…+6 °C at night, with frosts of 0…-2 °C in some places, and to +13…+18 °C in the daytime in agricultural zone of Naryn region.

It will drop to 0...+5 °C at night and to +7...+12 °C in the daytime in the mountainous regions, to -3...-8 °C at night  and to +1...+6 °C in the daytime in the highland zone.

West wind will increase to 4-9 m/s, and up to 15-20 m/s in some places.

Such unstable weather will complicate the work of vehicles, communications, energy and utilities, grazing and keeping livestock on pastures, and agricultural work.

Mudflows are possible in the mountainous and foothill regions of the republic on August 28 due to unstable weather and expected heavy rains.
