AKIPRESS.COM - FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta arrived in Kyrgyzstan on August 28.

The FC President and Barça Legends team were met by Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of State National Security Committee Kamchibek Tashiev.

Football player Edgar Davids arrived as well.

On the first day of their visit, FC Barcelona team of legends was introduced to the national culture in Rukh Ordo Center, nomad horse games at the horce race track in Cholpon-Ata.

The visit to Kyrgyzstan is linked to opening of Barcelona Academy in Kyrgyzstan. The match between Barça Legends and football veterans of Central Asia is planned.
