AKIPRESS.COM - The official opening ceremony of the Embassy of Palestine took place in Dushanbe on August 29, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported. It was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Palestine, as well as heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Dushanbe.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin noted in his speech that the opening of the Embassy of Palestine contributes to the development of relations and the establishment of new ties between the two friendly countries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine Riyadh Al-Maliki expressed hope that the activities of his country's ?mbassy in Dushanbe would be effective for the development of relations.
