AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine Riyadh Al-Maliki in Dushanbe on August 29, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.
The sides discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
After the bilateral meeting led by the foreign ministers of the two countries, the third round of political consultations was held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade, investment, tourism, legal, cultural, scientific, educational and healthcare spheres, as well as cooperation between the two countries within the framework of regional and international organizations.
The diplomats signed the Protocol on political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine, the agreement between the government of Tajikistan and the government of Palestine on cooperation in higher education and science research, and the agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Agriculture of Palestine on cooperation in the field of agriculture following the talks.
