Nebras Power is a leading Qatari energy corporation. The company's portfolio includes significant projects in more than ten countries.

The sides discussed practical aspects of developing mutually beneficial cooperation to promote new projects in the energy sector, especially alternative energy.

The President of Uzbekistan noted with satisfaction the start of implementation, with the participation of a Qatari company, of a project to construct a modern power plant in Syrdarya region based on combined cycle gas technologies with a capacity of 1.6 GW.

Preparation of work on the project for the construction of a thermal power plant in Surkhandarya region is being completed.

Joint plans were discussed to create energy storage systems with a capacity of 600 MW in Tashkent region and launch wind generation with a capacity of 1 GW in Karakalpakstan.

An agreement was reached on adopting a long-term partnership program with the inclusion of promising projects, primarily in green energy.
