AKIPRESS.COM - A signing ceremony of bilateral documents took place following the talks between  President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, UzA reports.

The governments of Uzbekistan and Qatar signed an agreement on cooperation in tourism and business events.

Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Agency for Social Protection of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Social Development and Family of Qatar was signed as well.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Interior of Qatar signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

Memorandum of Understanding on investment cooperation was also signed between the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and the Qatar Investment Authority.

The Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan and the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority of Qatar signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

In addition, Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between the Committee on Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue.

The National Center of Uzbekistan for Human Rights and the National Human Rights Committee of Qatar signed the Memorandum of Understanding as well.

Agreement on the creation of a joint business council and Memorandum of Understanding were concluded between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
