
AKIPRESS.COM - Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Audrey Azoulay paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa on October 11, Montsame reported.
The two sides exchanged views on the progress and results of the joint projects, implemented by Mongolia and UNESCO as well as issues to be considered in future.
The President of Mongolia emphasized active cooperation with UNESCO in spreading education, eradicating illiteracy, preserving national history and cultural heritage, promoting technical and technological achievements, and strengthening fundamental human rights and freedoms over the 60 years since the start of the cooperation.
