Wang Yi welcomed President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in China upon the invitation of President Xi Jinping.
Next year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia, the 30th anniversary of cooperative relations between the two countries, and the 10th anniversary of President Xi Jinping's visit to Mongolia.
China is ready to work with Mongolia to jointly plan high-level exchanges and priority fields for cooperation, and push for greater development of bilateral relations. The two sides should strengthen mutual trust, enhance communication, push the steady and sustained development of China-Mongolia relations in future, the Embassy notes.
Sainbuyan Amarsaikhan extended congratulations to China on its successful hosting of the 3rd China Xizang Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation.
The Ambassador expressed willingness to strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges and communication in the field of ecological conservation with Xizang.
Sainbuyan Amarsaikhan said that Mongolia-China relations have maintained close development momentum, cooperation in various fields has been constantly deepened. In particular, economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has played an important role in Mongolia's economic development.
The Ambassador added that Mongolia attaches great importance to President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh's attendance at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in China and believes that this will greatly boost Belt and Road cooperation between the two countries.
