New Ambassador of Mongolia presents letter of credence to Governor of Canada

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada Sarantogos Erdenetsogt presented her Letter of Credence to Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada on October 13, Montsame reports.

Ambassador Sarantogos Erdenetsogt conveyed the greetings of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa. She expressed her satisfaction at presenting her Letter of Credence on the eve of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Canada.

The Ambassador said she will actively work to further expand relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as strengthen people-to-people ties.

Governor Mary Simon emphasized that Mongolia and Canada share common values of democracy and human rights and noted the opportunities to develop cooperation between the two countries in numerous areas.

Diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Canada were established on November 30, 1973.
