
AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation headed by Tsengeg Mijiddorj, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the OSCE, participated in the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting, which took place in Skopje, North Macedonia, from November 30 to December 1, Montsame reports.
The OSCE participating states exchanged opinions on issues of ensuring regional security, strengthening human rights and democracy, supporting economic development, and protecting the environment.
On behalf of the government of Mongolia, Tsengeg Mijiddorj delivered a speech at the plenary session of the meeting by presenting the goals and priorities of Mongolia's foreign policy and expressed Mongolia's position on regional issues. Tsengeg Mijiddorj also met with some Ministers of participating states and some OSCE senior officials.
Malta was appointed as the 2024 Chairperson-in-Office and the terms of office of the four senior OSCE officials were extended for another nine months during the 30th OSCE Ministerial Meeting.
