AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation from Uzbekistan held talks with Chairman of the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhou Minhao and Chairman of the Regional Federation of Industry and Commerce Zhou Jiqi in Shanghai, UzA reports.

The Chinese side was informed of Uzbekistan's economic potential and the opportunities for business activities.

The Chinese representatives noted that the scale of trade and economic relations between the two countries is expanding today. It was noted that it is essential to increase further activities of leading companies based in Shanghai.

The parties exchanged views on attracting companies in electronics, biotechnology, green energy, food, and other fields to invest in projects.

The sides reviewed the schedule of exhibitions and forums to be held in 2024. Details of joint events and visits planned for the next year were also discussed.
