
AKIPRESS.COM - The International Institute for Central Asia hosted a meeting with Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Kaha Imnadze, UzA reports.
The parties exchanged views on the development of processes in Central Asia, as well as prospects and forms of interaction between UNRCCA and IICA.
The role of annual meetings of deputy foreign ministers of Central Asian states and expert dialogues between leading think tanks of the countries of the region, which contribute to the practical filling of the agenda of upcoming high-level events, was emphasized at the meeting.
The participants agreed to continue regular meetings to strengthen the expert dialogue between IICA and UNRCCA and conduct joint events.
