New flag of Kyrgyzstan hoisted at Ala-Too square in Bishkek
AKIPRESS.COM - A new flag of Kyrgyzstan has been hoisted at Ala-Too Square on January 1, 2024.
President Sadyr Japarov has signed the order on change of the flag of the country on December 22.
The signed law foresees change of the shape of the rays of the sun on the flag from wavy into straight ones.
All official documents with the image of the state flag will remain valid until expiry. The car plates and vehicle registration certificates with image of state flag will remain valid until the authorized body will make the decision to replace them.
