AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov visited the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, where he held talks with Director Farhan Nizami, UzA reports.

The parties discussed issues of organizing joint scientific workshops, internships for researchers of research centers of Uzbekistan at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, obtaining facsimile copies of rare manuscripts, and others.

An agreement was reached to promote Islamic finance instruments that have proven their productivity in Asian countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia.

In this context, it was decided to hold Uzbekistan Days at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies.
