AKIPRESS.COM - The number of foreign nationals visiting Uzbekistan is growing yearly.

A wide range of opportunities has been created for them in tourism, service, medicine, and trade, UzA reported.

In 2023, 6.6 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.

Of these, 5.6 million visited relatives, 773.2 thousand for vacation, and 143.5 thousand for work. 61.3 thousand people underwent medical treatment in Uzbekistan. Most people visited the country for study.

Last year, there were 16.8 thousand international students.
