AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas held a meeting in Dushanbe on January 16, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reports.

The parties discussed the current agenda of bilateral relations and exchanged views on ways to develop and expand cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.

The sides also considered issues of regional security, the situation in Afghanistan, the threat of terrorism and extremism and other important issues.
