
AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Han Duck-soo on January 17 on the sidelines of the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, Montsame reports.
Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai expressed pleasure to meet with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo after his official visit to the Republic of Korea last year. He emphasized that friendly relations and cooperation with the Republic of Korea, Mongolia's important third neighbor and strategic partner, are expanding in all areas of mutual interest and are being strengthened on bilateral, regional, and international platforms.
Prime Minister Han Duck-soo praised the start of negotiations on the Economic Partnership Agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea and the successful implementation of the project to establish a joint research center for rare earth metals.
In addition, the parties noted that they are satisfied with the active exchange of citizens of the two countries, cooperation in trade, economy, and tourism, and exchanged views on future directions.
