Uzbekistan and China sign documents on cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of China Xi Jinping signed a Joint Statement, UzA reports.

The intention to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and continue to enrich comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China was confirmed.

The governments of Uzbekistan and China signed the agreements on cooperation in environmental protection, technical and economic cooperation, cooperation in human resources development, and cooperation of state research institutions.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education of China agreed to cooperate in teaching Chinese.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and the General Administration of Customs of China concluded a protocol on phytosanitary requirements and control for the export of peas from Uzbekistan to China.

The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and the National Development and Reform Commission of China signed a protocol on deepening cooperation on China – Central Asia – Europe express trains.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Commerce of China agreed to develop cooperation in new electric vehicles.

Protocol of Intent was concluded between the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China on cooperation in poverty reduction.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China signed an agreement on further strengthening scientific and technical cooperation.

The Agency for Technical Regulation of Uzbekistan and the Standardization Administration of China agreed on cooperation in standardization.

Agreement between the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Civil Aviation Administration of China was concluded on the joint construction of the Air Silk Road.

The Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China designed plan of cooperation in tourism for 2024-2026.

Tashkent region and Shaanxi province, as well as the cities of Samarkand and Qingdao, signed agreement on establishing partnership.
