AKIPRESS.COM - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in Uzbekistan on February 7 on official visit upon invitaiton of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport.
The bilateral talks will be held at the highest level. Practical aspects of further enhancing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus will be considered.
The issues of increasing mutual trade turnover, developing cooperation in agriculture, light and food industries, pharmaceuticals, communications, and others will be considered. Partnership development programs in vocational education, healthcare, culture, sports, and tourism will also be discussed.
Bilateral documents are expected to be signed during this visit.
