AKIPRESS.COM - Abdulaziz Zakirov has become Mufti of Kyrgyzstan, the Mufti's Office reported.

Such decision was made at the extraordinary assembly of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan on February 10.

Abdulaziz Zakirov was born on April 29, 1979 in Jeti-Koshkon village, Jalal-Abad region. He finished school in his home village.

In 1993-1998 he studied at Quran courses in Istanbul (Türkiye). In 2009-2015, he received his education at the Rasul Akram Institute in Bishkek. In 2015-2018, he received a degree in jurisprudence at the Academy of Law, Business and Education.
