AKIPRESS.COM - In the territory of Orozbekov rural municipality of Kadamjai district of Batken region, there is a spring Azim-Bulak (formerly called Azis-Bulak). Local residents believe that water from this spring has a positive effect on gastrointestinal diseases and helps get rid of various warts.
In the past, gravel was extracted from this area, and in 1961, it was used in the construction of the Osh-Batken-Isfana [now Razzakov] road's old route through Sokh enclave. The gravel was transported to Aidarken, and at the extraction site, an underground water source subsequently appeared.
In 1977, after powerful rains, mudflows blocked the source from which water flowed. A resident of the village of Kara-Kechuu, Azim Sattarov, organized villagers and cleared the source, and water began to flow again. Since then, the source has been called Azim-Bulak.
