Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan holds talks with Special Representative of UN Secretary-General for Central Asia
AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Kaha Imnadze on February 27, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.
The sides discussed current situation and prospects of multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and UNRCCA.
The parties expressed interest in strengthening and expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and UN in various fields, including ensuring peace and stability in the world, combating modern threats and challenges, protecting the environment and preserving water resources.
