AKIPRESS.COM - The Kalybaev School was inaugurated in the village of Ak-Jar, Aitmatov district, Talas region on March 1.

Executives of district enterprises and institutions, teachers, villagers attended the official inauguration ceremony.

The previous school building consisted of 4 buildings. The first building was commissioned in 1928, the second was built in 1990 by local community members, the third was built in 1978, the fourth was built in 2004 by local community members.

278 children studied in the school in 2 shifts before.

After the school buildings became unsafe, construction of the 2-floor school building for 225 students began in 2015. Construction was suspended for some time due to shortage of public funds and resumed in autumn 2022.

The overall cost of the given school project made 79 million soms.
