AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Education of Science L. Enkh-Amgalan paid an official visit to Finland. He held a meeting with Anita Lehikoinen, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Culture Finland, and discussed education reforms in Finland and Mongolia, GoGo reports.
Finland has been consistently successful in PISA assessments, and is planning to implement policy reforms in the areas of school management, teacher education and assessment, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in education and training, sustainable development, and the development of citizens' green skills based on the results of the 2022 testing.
L. Enkh-Amgalan also visited the University of Helsinki in Finland, exchanged opinions on the teacher training system, and presented the three-pillar policy of teachers implemented in Mongolia. The parties considered the possibility of implementing a joint program to strengthen the teacher training system, and to start cooperation between the Mongolian State University of Education and the University of Helsinki.
Minister of Education of Science of Mongolia visited the Early Childhood Education Center at the University of Helsinki, got acquainted with early childhood development and learning activities, and discussed cooperation with the Preschool Education School of Mongolian State University of Education.
