Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan discuss cooperation in sports

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Sports of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov and Ambassador of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov held a meeting to discuss bringing cooperation between Central Asian countries in sports to a new level, in particular, the implementation of promising projects in physical education and sports, and the organization of joint educational and training camps, UzA reported.

Ambassador Beibut Atamkulov appreciated the success achieved in Uzbekistan due to systematic work on the development of mass sports and noted the rapid growth of sports such as rowing, chess, hockey, boxing, and martial arts.

The parties discussed the participation of the delegation of Uzbekistan in the World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan. Several agreements were reached on further developing cooperation in sports, holding joint sports events and training camps, and strengthening interaction between the universities of the two countries.
