AKIPRESS.COM - Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Shakiev will pay an official visit to Mongolia on April 23-25 at the inivitation of Chairman of the Parliament of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav, Montsame reports.

During the visit, Chairman Zandanshatar Gombojav and Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev will hold official talks and exchange views on relations between the two countries, inter-parliamentary cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.

Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev will pay a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and meet with Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai. Nurlanbek Shakiev will also participate as an honorable guest in the Second annual Trans-Altai Sustainability Dialogue in Ulaanbaatar on April 25-27.

This is the first visit of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic to Mongolia. The official visit is expected to boost political dialogue and mutual trust between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, strengthen cooperation between legislative bodies, and solidify the legal basis of relations.
