MP Madumarov released from remand prison of National Security Committee

AKIPRESS.COM - The sentence against MP Adakhan Madumarov (Butun Kyrgyzstan) entered into force on April 25.

He was released from the remand prison of the State National Security Committee.

On March 26, the Pervomaiskiy District Court announced Adakhan Madumarov guilty of power abuse and relieved his of punishment due to expiry of the statute of limitations.

"We will discuss with lawyers what to do next. According to the legislation we have 30 days to appeal the sentence. I was handed down a sentence on April 16," Madumarov said.

Madumarov explained the situation with his MP mandate: "All this happened due to my mandate. I do not have other affairs. We fought and we will fight against our last breath."
