
AKIPRESS.COM - The Kyrgyzstan national futsal team defeated the Vietnam national team in the qualifying match for the 2024 Futsal World Cup.
The match took place on April 26 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Kyrgyz team took the lead twice thanks to goals from Maksat Alimov and Shokhrukh Makhmadaminov, but the Vietnamese team managed to equalize both times - 2:2. The second Vietnamese goal was scored after they substituted the goalkeeper for the fifth outfield player.
After that, the Vietnam team continued to play with the fifth outfield player and conceded a goal into the empty net. Daniyar Talaibekov scored the third goal, securing a victory for the Kyrgyzstan team - 3:2.
On April 28, the Kyrgyzstan national team will play against the Afghanistan national team in a match for qualification to the World Cup, which will take place in the fall of this year in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
