New National Library building to open this week
AKIPRESS.COM - The State Commission of Mongolia accepted the building of the National Library after 10 years of construction.
The new building has 11 floors and a total of 16 reading rooms. It is able to serve 530 people at the same time. Reading rooms of both buildings are closed temporarily due to the movement.
The process of movement was finished, and library will start working from May 1.
The work of transferring the books began on April 3. It will last for eight days. The staff and supervisors of the National Library are responsible for the transfer.
