The authorities of Nangarhar and Laghman provinces reported loss of life, destruction of houses and agricultural lands as a result of a natural disaster.

"Recent floods have destroyed 800 homes and 1,600 acres of agricultural land in the province. The collapse of residential house roofs resulted in four deaths and six injuries," head of Disaster Management Department in Nangarhar Saifullah Khalid said.
