AKIPRESS.COM - Innovation Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency International Expo and Conference will be held at the Misheel Expo center in Ulaanbaatar on May 16-18, the U.S. Embassy in Mongolia reports.

Mongolia encourages the public to use energy efficiently, relying on renewable energy sources, and strives to increase the production and consumption of sustainable energy.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Energy and Energy Regulatory Commission with the USAID's support. It is also co-organized by the Business and Innovation Development Agency and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event will be attended by the government officials, domestic and foreign companies, scientists, researchers, NGOs, as well as international organizations offering energy solutions suitable for Mongolia's climate.
