Turkmenistan and International Labor Organization consider bilateral cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Byashimova and representatives of the International Labor Organization (ILO) held a meeting on May 14. They discussed issues of implementation of the agreements reached following the visit of the ILO Assistant Director-General, Regional Director of the ILO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia Beate Andrees in February, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

The parties noted the high level of interaction between Turkmenistan and the ILO over many years. They considered issues of further expanding the dialogue and establishing connections on a systematic basis.

According to the sides, the Roadmap of cooperation activities between Turkmenistan and the International Labor Organization for 2024-2025 identified key areas of interaction and specific steps for the near future.

A separate topic of discussion was the preparation of the delegation of Turkmenistan for the upcoming 112th session of the International Labor Conference.
