AKIPRESS.COM - State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ankhbayar Nyamdorj met non-resident Ambassador of Latvia to Mongolia Maija Manika on May 16. They discussed expanding bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, Montsame reports.

Ankhbayar Nyamdorj affirmed his commitment to intensifying inter-ministerial dialogue and consultation. The State Secretary emphasized that Mongolia aims to strengthen cooperation with Latvia within the framework of international organizations and the United Nations. He also expressed gratitude for Latvia's continued support for Mongolia's initiatives and recommendations in the regional and international arenas.

Ambassador Maija Manika expressed commitment to improving bilateral relations, expanding cooperation in economy, transportation, and humanity, and promoting people’s diplomacy during her term of service.
