
AKIPRESS.COM - The UN's Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) held a coordination meeting on May 20, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.
Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva Sharaf Sheralizoda chaired the SPECA session.
The meeting was also attended by UNECE Deputy Executive Secretary, and the Permanent Representatives of the SPECA member countries to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening regional trade and economic cooperation within SPECA and its work agenda for 2024.
Tajikistan is chairing SPECA in 2024.
