Over 900 shamans from 27 countries take part in festival in Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - World Shaman Festival "Tenger" took place at the Hui Doloon Hudag in Ulaanbaatar on May 24-27.

Scientific conference on "World Shamanism" was organized as part of the festival at the Chinggis Khaan Museum on May 24.

The event aims to promote heritage, history and traditional shaman customs and practices.

More than 900 shamans from 27 countries, including South Korea, France, Poland, the USA, Canada, Russia, China, Japan and Korea, gathered to participate in the festival in Ulaanbaatar.

During the event, a sacrifice to the Sun, a ceremony of waving a shamanic flag, rituals for peace and tranquility of the Earth, and a sacrifice to fire were performed.
