AKIPRESS.COM - President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Uzbekistan on a two-day visit upon invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This is the third foreign trip and second state visit after Putin's inauguration.

The President of Uzbekistan met Vladimir Putin in the airport. The two leaders will hold talks in Tashkent to discuss current cooperation and its prospects.

Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the inaugural meeting of the Council of Regions of Russia and Uzbekistan. The package of bilateral documents will be signed.
