Mongolia hosts launch event of international trade development project funded by EU

AKIPRESS.COM - The launch event of the European Union funded International Trade Development project took place in Mongolia on May 15. Representatives from the government entities and enterprises gathered at the event to discuss ongoing efforts in trade facilitation, the Foreign Ministry of Mongolia reported.

The discussions highlighted the key issues entrepreneurs face when entering foreign markets, such as logistical challenges and the complexities of international trade compliance. The participants exchanged views on enhancing foreign trade policy, diversifying export clusters, and establishing long-term public-private partnerships.

The project aims to assist small and medium-sized enterprises in accessing the European market by addressing the non-tariff barriers that these businesses encounter.
