AKIPRESS.COM - A Bishkek school student of grade 9 was struck by lightning during a thunderstorm in Bishkek on June 12, AKIpress learnt from sources.

The mounted 14-year-old boy was on the open area of Ak-Kula racecourse, when the lightning struck them.

The boy is the oldest son in the family of the horsekeeper. He would have turned 15 years in October.

According to preliminary information, the teenager helped his father to train the horse on the day of tragedy.
